Born in Japan in 1981, Takefumi Naoshima began the live performance
with mixing board in 2001. Through his improvised works with the minimal
volume which challenges a limitation of human ears, his matter of
concern had changed to our recognitions and interpretations
of the (musical) act and performance than the sound itself.
Ninzu, a duo with Takahiro Hirama, is Naoshima's one of main projects.
He has organized CDR-Label, Encadre, which has released discs
by himself as well as other artists. His co-leader CD, Septet, is also
released in 2007 on Meenna.
